Halfie Community Guidelines

Halfie is a space for two adults who chose each other. These guidelines are part of the Halfie Terms of Use and apply to everyone who uses it.

1. The basics

1.1. 18+ only. Both of you must be adults.

1.2. Consent, every time. Share intimate content only with a partner who wants it, and only content of yourself, or of the two of you with both of your consent. A yes once is not a yes forever. Either of you can pause Private, delete anything for both of you, or disconnect, at any time and without explaining why.

1.3. What is sent to you is not yours to share. Do not save, screenshot, record, photograph or forward your partner's Private content, or show it to anyone, without their clear consent.

1.4. Be honest about the limits. Halfie blocks screenshots in Private where iOS allows and tells you both when one is taken, but no app can stop a second phone from photographing a screen. Only send what you are comfortable with your partner keeping.

2. Never allowed

2.1. Anything sexualising a minor. Zero tolerance. Accounts are terminated and reported to the authorities, including NCMEC where applicable.

2.2. Intimate images of anyone without their consent, including your partner, an ex, or anyone else. Never share images of people other than the two of you in Private.

2.3. Pressure, threats or blackmail, including pushing someone to send intimate content or threatening to share it.

2.4. Harassment, stalking or control, including using Halfie to monitor someone who does not want to be monitored.

2.5. Hate, violence and self-harm promotion.

2.6. Illegal content, impersonation, spam, and attempts to get around age checks, limits or security.

3. If something goes wrong

3.1. In Private, report any photo you received from its viewer. It disappears for both of you straight away, and we act within 48 hours.

3.2. If your intimate image was shared without your consent, even if you do not use Halfie, email shelbulab@gmail.com with "TAKE IT DOWN" in the subject line. See Support for what to include. We act within 48 hours.

3.3. If you feel unsafe, disconnect in Settings. Private is erased for both of you immediately. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.

4. What we do

4.1. Depending on how serious it is, we remove the content, warn the user, suspend the account or terminate it. Serious breaches lead to immediate suspension or termination.

4.2. If you think we got it wrong, write to shelbulab@gmail.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. A person will review it.
